About Kelly

Kelly Settipani, CLC

Newborn Educator & Consultant

Kelly is a dedicated infant care expert and the founder of KelSet Newborn Care. With an extensive background as a CAPPA Certified New Parent Educator (CNPE), INA Credentialed Newborn Care Specialist, and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), her mission is to bridge the gap between hospital or birthing facility and home for families across the Triangle region of North Carolina and beyond.

Kelly’s journey into professional childcare began decades ago, but it was her 12+ year career as a professional nanny in the Triangle that solidified her passion for early development. In 2020, she transitioned her focus to specialized infant care, gaining hands-on experience as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula.

Today, Kelly has pivoted her focus from hands-on overnight care to comprehensive newborn education. By offering classes and private consultations in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and beyond, she can support a wider community—providing parents, grandparents, and caregivers with the latest evidence-based practices for a confident 4th trimester.

Based in Moncure, Kelly enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling with her husband, Leo, and their two dogs, Moxxi and Marty. As a devoted hockey fan and Carolina Hurricanes Season Ticket Member, you can often find her cheering on the Canes when she isn’t helping local families.
